Q: Which fishes are the best choice if I want to try to breed fish?

A: There are a long number of fishes that are suitable for the beginner. The most classical beginner fishes are livebearers who are very easy to breed. Other species that are very suitable for beginners include Danio species and a number of cichlids such as kribs and convict cichlids.
