Breeding Catfish
How do i breed corydoras catfishes?

Corydoras catfishes are usually best breed by putting one female with two or several males in an aquarium. Females are usually larger and fatter then males.

Make sure that the fish are in breeding conditions before trying to breed them. They can be conditioned by feeding them a lot of frozen and live food. Black bloodworms are especially good to get fishes into breeding condition.

The spawning can be triggered by making a water change and lowering the temperature in the breeding aquarium. The eggs will be deposited in on the glass and plants in different places in the aquarium. Remove the adult fish as soon as the spawning is over as they otherwise will eat their own eggs.
